In Mexico, you can end your marriage even if your partner opposes to go through the process. Even if the other part is not willing to sign the papers, or if you don´t have enough proof or causes, a Judge can validate the divorce.

To start the process it´s important to gather the following documents (in their original version) and information:

• Marriage certificate;
• Address of the defendant;
• Ownership/Acquisition Deed
• Birth certificate of the children (if there are)
• Proposal agreement.
